In Search of Literary Inspiration
Day 1:
London. Walking tour of Shakespearean sites: visit the Globe Theatre and an exhibition about the playwright's life. Lunch in a cafe by the Thames.
Day 2:
Travel to Bath - the city of Jane Austen. Tour the museum dedicated to the writer and walk along the streets that inspired her novels.
Day 3:
Oxford - the filming location of many Tolkien films. Tour colleges, including Christ Church, and visit bookshops.
Day 4:
Travel to the village of Lacock. The guide will tell you how this place inspired writers and became the setting for many films.
Day 5:
Return to London. The tour ends at the British Museum, where unique artefacts that inspired writers are on display.
